Therapy and Consulting Services

Adult Therapy
Adults often come in with concerns that can evolve or change over time. This can include stress management, the impacts of a specific event, and/or concerns that have been impacting them for a longer period of time. In therapy, we work to clarify issues and concerns, come up with effective interventions, identify and utilize helpful coping strategies. We also work to support emotions and processes that go along with meaningful change.

Child Therapy (4-11)
Childhood involves many developmental milestones that begin to set the stage for life going forward. I work to offer a welcoming, supportive environment for your child to grow in their understanding and management of their emotions and life experiences as well as to support the development of important social-emotional skills needed to navigate the many facets of life. We do this through play and activity-based therapy tailored to their developmental level. My goal is to provide an encouraging and supportive space for your child to engage in the process of positive growth.
-
Therapy for Teens (12+)
The teenage years are full of transition that can include the physical and emotional effects of puberty, new social challenges, and/or the stress of academics and extracurriculars. Therapy with teens focuses on helping them navigate the changes and challenges that might be occurring in their lives. We also may be working to grow and strengthen the skills they need to balance academics, relationships with family and friends, and their overall health and wellness.

Young Adulthood / College
The transition to young adulthood and college can be such a significant one in a person's life. I will listen to what you most wants to work on - this might include navigating relationships (romantic and otherwise), academic goals, mental health challenges, and much more. Therapy often will also focus on developing action-oriented strategies to help you move forward and stay well in the midst of many important changes.
-
Couples Therapy
All relationships have challenges and need some extra support and attention at times. When working with couples, the relationship is really the client, with both partners involved in the process of considering growth and change for their relationship. Therapy will explore areas of challenge, strengths, and opportunities to grow and change. We are LGBTQI+ relationship friendly.

Wellness Consultations
The field of psychology has a lot to offer when it comes to life’s difficulties, but it also has so much to share in relation to wellness, prevention, and emotional wellbeing. Consultations are available as an outlet for focusing on wellbeing and growth. Sometimes the goal is address something before it's too big of a problem -- to grow and thrive, rather than get by. Whether it be in managing stress, communicating effectively with others, or some aspect of parenting, consultations can help with knowledgeable information, feedback, and skills training.
